Blaire Townsend

Director of Project Management

Blaire Townsend recently joined our team after 26 year’s experience on the commercial side of the construction industry. In this newly created position, Blaire manages our expanding project management group.
Why did you decide to join HCBG and move from commercial to residential construction? I have had a very diverse project mix in my 26 year career. I was not necessarily looking to get into any specific type of construction at this time, but upon meeting Steve and Susan and the company they have built, I felt an immediate connection and believe that this is the right fit for me. I was also very impressed with the company’s commitment to its employees, customers and the community.

How do the skills you developed on the commercial side apply to residential construction? Whether it is commercial or residential construction, good project management requires a sense of urgency, being organized, attention to detail and a desire to do whatever it takes to satisfy your customers.
What are your  goals for HCBG’s Project Management Team? To build on the success that they have already established, continue to provide outstanding quality and service to every customer, and help grow the company in a profitable and efficient manner.
What are your favorite pastimes outside of work? I’ve enjoyed coaching my daughter in softball the past 9 years and I’m about to start coaching my son ‘s teams as well.  In my spare time I like to play golf.  I also enjoy traveling and fine dining – my vacations tend to be planned around the restaurants.
