Expansive Timber Frame is home to Calareso’s Farmstand

Over the winter, we raised the largest timber frame we’ve ever raised, and one of the largest frames in New England. The frame was designed and constructed by Timperpeg (the artisans of post & beam) for Calareso’s Farmstand & Garden Center, on Main Street in Reading, MA. As Timberpeg’s regional independent representative, Howell Custom Building Group oversaw the raising and construction of the frame on the site. Calareso’s, which has been in the same location for 60 years, decided to expand their business and now rivals the best of the North Shore’s natural food and flower markets. The new barn-like structure is a feast for the eyes and provides expansive space for the store to display their products — everthing from baked goods and meats, to fruits, vegetables, flowers and plants.
